The Limit of Mental Capacity
Our mental capacity is limited and it can be recharging only with sleep, not with closed eyes only or meditation. 4 Spikes (ideally in morning hours, before 12PM is the best time where your mental capacity is at spike) will give you 10 times more results and progress in the long run in everything that you want to achieve: learning new skills or language, coding, working on projects (freelancers), reading books, or whatever that you need to do every day for few hours or more.

Focus Spike is completely free small eco-system designed for founders, developers, creators, freelancers. People who learn new languages use Focus Spike, so as people who read books daily and for all kind of people who need to do some work every single day where distraction is a huge problem.
That why Spike Method is integrated - a new evolution of Pomodoro Technique. Triggering a state of "flow" in 100 minutes is possible and people all around the world are using it.
How Spikes are Counted
We recommend (and encourage you) to work 4 Spikes in a row. 25 focus timer with 5 minute break timer, 4 times in a row. That's 100 minutes of consistent focused work at spike, which means you are using mental capacity at it's peak for whatever you want to achieve or do.
For Long Projects (6-8 hours)
Some people work from home 6 to 8 hours or more or certain projects. We recommend you to do next: 4 Spikes of working, 1 Spike pause, 4 Spikes of working, 1 Spike pause and so on. For whatever you do, you can apply this. 1 Spike pause is 30 minutes of complete (25 focus timer and 5 minutes break timer) pause, get of your computer... and do your laundry or something :)
The Spike Method Breakdown
NO phone, NO notifications, NO TV turned on, NO "quick checks" of emails.
Moving away from the screen to let the subconscious work. Your mental energy need a quick reboot and pause. Stretch you body, go to toilet, refill your coffee, fix the dishes (if it's a small pile). NO screen, NO sitting. Complete physical movement, no mental stimulation.
Objective - Accumulating 4 to 6 high-quality Spikes daily. If you hit this number, you will systematically outperform 90% of competition.
